Whole-body mri scan

by Prenuvo

Prenuvo MRI is a state-of-the-art whole-body scan that captures high-quality images without radiation. The scan uses a super-conducting magnet and diffusion weighted imaging to detect abnormal tissue density across your entire body, including all major organs.

1 in 20 scans result in a potentially
life-saving diagnosis

Prenuvo detects over 500 conditions and diseases.

Multi-Cancer Detection Blood Test

by Galleri

Galleri’s early detection test identifies “cancer fingerprints,” or initial DNA fragments of cancer that appear in the body before the disease becomes symptomatic or detectable by conventional means.

4x higher survival rate with early detection

Only five types of cancer (breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, prostate) have recommended screening tests, but Galleri’s multi-cancer detection capability screens for early signs of more than 50 types of cancer.

Common questions

Prenuvo Whole-Body MRI Scan

How much does the Prenuvo scan cost?
$2500.

You will be given a set of scrubs upon arrival.

Prenuvo recommends that you fast for 4 hours before your scan so that the machine can take the clearest images of your stomach, bowel, and gallbladder. You may drink water, tea, or black coffee before your scan.

The scan takes less than an hour to complete. You'll lie on the scanner while the technician places lightweight receiver coils on your body. During the process, you can relax, listen to music, or watch a show.
Once complete, the 2,000 images captured are sent to a Prenuvo radiologist for a detailed evaluation. A detailed report of your results will be uploaded to your personal dashboard on the Prenuvo app within 5 business days.

That’s a personal choice, as a whole-body scan at any age can be helpful. However, the incidence of cancer does increase with age, starting at around 40 years.

A Pet-CT scan uses Gamma and X-ray radiation and is rarely used to screen for cancer. PET has limited use in the kidneys, ureters, and bladder because the radioactive injection is excreted through the urinary system and is highly concentrated in these areas during the scan. The Prenuvo scan does not have these issues and is more sensitive than PET-CT for tumors of the urinary system.

Prenuvo is not recommended for the following conditions or health considerations:
– Anyone who is pregnant
– Anyone with a pacemaker
– Anyone with certain types of cochlear implants*
– Anyone with certain types of prosthetic implants*
– Anyone with certain types of neurostimulators*

*If this applies to you, we advise you to speak directly to a Prenuvo representative to share more details about your specific implant and stimulator.

Common questions

Galleri Multi-Cancer Detection Test

How much does the Galleri test cost?
$950

After you submit a request for a test through Extension Health, your Extension Health provider will request a test kit from Galleri. You will then schedule a blood draw appointment at Extension Health, and our medical team will coordinate shipping your sample to Galleri’s Grail Lab and coordinating your results review.

The test is recommended for adults with an elevated risk of cancer, including adults over the age of 50 as this age group is 13x more likely to have cancer than adults under age 50.

Clinical studies show the test can detect cancer signals across 50+ different types of cancer. But not all cancer types can be detected by blood samples.

No. Galleri only detects cancer signals present at the time of the blood draw; the test cannot predict your future risk of developing cancer.

This result means that the test detected a signal that could indicate cancer. About 1 out of every 100 tests has a Cancer Signal Detected result. This result will also include a prediction of the tissue type or organ associated with the cancer signal, called a Cancer Signal Origin (CSO). This provides direction to your doctor on the cancer’s origin and can help guide the next steps for diagnosis.

The Prenuvo website states that 1 in 20 scans result in potentially life-saving diagnoses. This reflects, in particular, combined prevalence of radiologically-suspected pre-cancerous/cancerous-findings or brain-aneurysms in Prenuvo’s WB-MRI screening practice.
